Paddy & Scott's
About us.
Not for the faint hearted... Paddy & Scott’s make coffee for the doers, the driven, the pioneers, the creators.
We’re on a mission to fuel the ambitions of coffee growing communities and coffee lovers all over the world. For all our bravado, chest-beating and travel stories; fundamentally, we're coffee producers. We grow, source, import and cherish some of the finest coffees on the planet. What’s stopping you from joining our crusade?
2007
Back in 2007, Paddy, Scott and a black lab called Jessie looked on in astonishment at an old two kilo roaster named "Old Smokey."No customers and no idea where to source coffee a dream was born…
2012
Our travel plans went up a gear as we set out a mission to buy our own farm. India, Brazil and Columbia were passport stamps. We soon learned it's a dangerous business; fraught with pitfalls, tribes and machetes. We came back empty handed but learned a lot, unscathed and full of ideas.
2014
People loved our story as much as our coffee so it was a natural step to open our own Coffee Shops. Our first little coffee shop opened in our home town of Framlingham with a handful more appearing in the beautiful county of Suffolk.
2016
We proudly launched the Paddy & Scott's Barista Academy: Making sure the craft of brilliant coffee is at the heart of what we do!
2017
Our most exciting year yet! After 000s of miles travelled and many frogs kissed, we lift the curtain on our Kenyan Farm project; creating a world-first direct collaboration between a farm and consumer with over 4000 membership plots.
Today
Fast forward to today: We’re more committed to our Fuelling Ambition mantra than ever before! We move our HQ over to the glorious Ipswich Waterfront and have our flagship coffee shop and Ambition Academy living and breathing within the University of Suffolk.
Oh yeah and we’ve also launched another mad world-first project to fund school meals in coffee growing regions around the world. Every bag of Lunch Box coffee we sell provides a meal for a child who needs it most.
Our coffee tastes better because it changes lives. Literally.
